The summer transfer window has burst into life over the last few days, with a host of Premier League clubs looking to complete some early business. The likes of Chelsea, Aston Villa and Everton have all been active in the market but they could soon be joined by some of their top-flight rivals.
Manchester United are on the hunt for a new striker and have been linked with a move for Bologna frontman Joshua Zirkzee. They are not the only club with an interest in the Dutchman, though, given that AC Milan have also been credited with a strong desire to snap him up.
Liverpool, meanwhile, are yet to make their first signing of the Arne Slot era following his arrival at Anfield earlier this month. They could also be about to lose one of their longest-serving players, with reports suggesting that Adrian has rejected the offer of a new contract.
Liverpool target David Hancko wants to join Atletico Madrid, his agent has revealed.
Hancko, who played under Arne Slot at Feyenoord last season, is wanted by several European clubs.
“I have to say that, of all the clubs that are currently interested in David, Atletico is in first place for us,” Branislav Jasurek said.
“Others are more like conversations. Some are friendly because we’ve known each other for a long time. Some are new. At this point, nothing has come up that David is thinking about it more than Atletico. The second thing is that it is not yet a completed transfer.
“Both David and I like (the idea of joining Diego Simeone’s side). But they will decide in Feyenoord.”
Ivan Toney has played down speculation over his future at Brentford after Thomas Frank admitted that he was 'preparing' for the striker's exit.
When those comments were put to Toney during a press conference on Sunday, he replied: "I didn’t hear him say that! I can’t predict the future and if I could I wouldn’t be sat here in front of you guys.
"What will be will be and my main focus is playing well and doing well for my country. I’ve been through it before. There’s been lots of talk of me going here, there and everywhere before in my career.
"I just don’t let outside noise get to me. I’m here with England now and the main focus is doing well for England and whatever happens, happens. I can’t control it."
Manchester United are reportedly speaking to Alvaro Morata's representatives as they weigh up a bargain move for the former Chelsea man.
The 31-year-old remains tied down to Atletico Madrid until 2026 but could seemingly return to the Premier League this summer.
United are keen on snapping him up, according to Turkish outlet Sabah, with the Red Devils already discussing a potential move for his signature.
They are not the only club in the race, though, with AS Roma, Juventus, Borussia Dortmund and Fenerbahce also said to have opened talks with his representatives.
Arsenal have joined the chase for Bayern Munich utility man Joshua Kimmich, according to HITC.
The Germany international has already been linked with a potential move to Manchester City, where he would reunite with former Bayern boss Pep Guardiola.
Arsenal, however, are said to be keen on beating City to his signature with Mikel Arteta a huge fan of his talents.
Newcastle youngster Yankuba Minteh has agreed personal terms with a mystery side amid interest from Liverpool.
The Reds have been tipped to move for Minteh's signature with Newcastle open to cashing in on the 19-year-old this summer.
His agent, Bakary Bojang, has confirmed that personal terms have been agreed with a mystery club.
He said: "From our side. if Newcastle wants to sell and the sporting project is good, we will definitely look at it. We are in communication with some clubs.
"I can't confirm the clubs who are in communication with us. We have agreed terms with one of the clubs, so now the rest is with Newcastle."
