Manchester United have named their price for Jadon Sancho this summer. Having officially finished his loan spell at Borussia Dortmund, Sir Jim Ratcliffe is reportedly ready to sell the player when the transfer window opens on June 14 if the club receive a minimum bid of £40million.
The ex-England winger left Dortmund for United in the summer of 2021 for a £73m fee, but returned to Germany in January following his explosive fallout with Erik ten Hag.
His impressive form in Germany led to speculation the 24-year-old could be welcomed back into the fold at Old Trafford this summer. But that notion seemed dependent on whether Ten Hag remained in charge, with Ratcliffe yet to publicly back his manager despite the FA Cup final win over Man City last month.
And according to BBC Sport Ratcliffe is intent on selling Sancho irrespective of who is charge. The new minority stakeholder has seemingly made his intentions clear on the player in a bid to raise transfer funds.
A straight sale would benefit the club's standing in terms of Financial Fair Play restrictions. But his £300,000-a-week wages could also prove a stumbling block for the likes of Dortmund if they want a permanent deal.

After his temporary deal expired amid the final loss, Sancho confirmed he was leaving Dortmund as he took to social media to post a heartfelt message to fans: "What a crazy 6 months @bvb09", he wrote: "We win together we lose together, these moments only make us stronger! I’m so grateful to be apart of such an amazing group of players!
"I want to congratulate Real Madrid on winning the Champions League. We came up short on the night, but we should be super proud of ourselves. We are a family and these moments won’t break us! Thank you to everybody who came out to support us on such a special day!
"@bvb09 I want to thank everyone involved at such an amazing club. I can’t thank you enough for welcoming me back the way you all have during these last 6 months."
