Premier League transfer round-up: Onana seals Manchester United move
PSG are gearing up to sell Kylian Mbappe this summer and there are several clubs in the race to snap him up. Tottenham, Manchester United, Al-Hilal, Real Madrid and Chelsea have all been linked with a move for the 24-year-old - and the latter are considering a swap deal to meet PSG's hefty asking price.
According to The Times, PSG are willing to entertain bids of over £87milliion for the France international and expect to open talks with interested parties next week. Chelsea will consider alternative ways to position themselves as favourites to snap up Mbappe and are willing to offer Hakim Ziyech, Raheem Sterling or Romelu Lukaku to sweeten the deal.
Meanwhile, Manchester United are battling it out with PSG for Atalanta forward Rasmus Hojlund and are reportedly preparing an official offer for Atalanta striker Rasmus Hojlund after a verbal proposal was deemed too low.
Over at Liverpool there are expected to be more outgoings following Fabinho and Jordan Henderson's departures. Dressing room leader Thiago Alcantara could be the next to go and is considering a return to his home country, according to reports.
Silva could lure Callum
Fulham are set to reopen talks with Chelsea winger Callum Hudson-Odoi after Marco Silva committed his future to the club.
Manager Silva has rejected a chance to move to the Saudi Pro League.
Hudson-Odoi has been linked with a transfer to Lazio in recent days.
But Fabrizio Romano says Silva staying at Craven Cottage will boost Fulham's chance of signing him.
Chelsea want to sell the player and hope to wrap up a deal quickly.
Goretzka shuts down rumours
Bayern Munich star Leon Goretzka has shut down talks of a summer move.
The midfielder had been linked with a move to the likes of Manchester United and West Ham.
However, he appears determined to stay at the Allianz Arena beyond this window.
Asked if he will be leaving, Goretzka told reporters: "No. I love the clubs, I love the city, I love the fans."
Balogun price dropped
Arsenal's asking price for Folarin Balogun has reportedly dropped.
Inter Milan are keen on signing the striker, who has featured for the Gunners in pre-season.
Corriere dello Sport claims that Arsenal were initially demanding around £43m for Balogun.
However, the valuation is now said to have dropped to around £35m.
Balogun is now the top striker target for Inter after leapfrogging Alvaro Morata on their wishlist.
First Hojlund bid this week
Manchester United are set to make their first bid for Rasmus Hojlund this week.
Fabrizio Romano says PSG are also in talks with the player's representatives.
However, United have already agreed personal terms with Hojlund.
It is claimed that the Denmark international's preferred destination would be Old Trafford.
Dogs delay Fabinho move
Fabinho's move to the Saudi Pro League has reportedly been delayed because of his dogs.
The Brazilian has agreed to join Al-Ittihad after a £40m fee was agreed with Liverpool.
However, reports from Saudi Arabia claim he is seeking further clarity on whether he can bring his two dogs with him.
He has two French bulldogs and ‘Dangerous and aggressive dogs’ are banned from Saudi Arabia.
There are fears 'Frenchies' are one of the breeds not permitted to enter the country.
Chelsea make Olise bid
Chelsea have made an offer of £39m for Crystal Palace winger Michael Olise.

Olise is said to be 'seduced by the project' at Stamford Bridge.
He will look to agree a move across London if Chelsea can strike a deal with Palace.
Liverpool in Lavia price talks
Liverpool are reportedly in talks with Southampton over a final price for Romeo Lavia.
The 19-year-old has been linked with a host of top clubs this summer.
Liverpool have already signed two midfielders in this window but two further impending exits have seen them enter the race for Lavia.
Fabrizio Romano claims the Reds are trying to understand a final price tag that Saints would accept.
Southampton had initially valued the former Manchester City youngster at £50m.
Mega Mbappe offer
Kylian Mbappe has been offered a mega-money contract to move to the Saudi Pro League.
Sport Italia claims Al-Hilal are willing to pay the Frenchman around £173m a year in wages.

The report says the contract may include a clause which would allow Mbappe to join Real Madrid in a year's time.
Newcastle sign Barnes
Newcastle have completed the signing of Harvey Barnes from Leicester.
The winger was expected to join a Premier League club following the Foxes' relegation last season.
Newcastle agreed a fee in the region of £38m earlier this week.
And now the Magpies have officially announced his arrival on a five-year deal.
Barnes said: "I'm delighted. It's an amazing club and for me it's a massive opportunity to come and be involved in a successful team that's doing exciting things, so I'm absolutely buzzing to be here."

Arsenal to terminate Pepe's contract
According to the Mirror, Arsenal are reportedly planning to terminate Nicolas Pepe's contract if they are unable to secure a move for him this summer.
The Ivory Coast international cost the Gunners £72million back in 2019 from Lille and has failed to make up for his price tag.
He has been deemed surplus to requirements at the Emirates this summer and the north Londoners are so desperate to get him off their books that they are prepared to buy out his deal.
Telles completes Saudi switch
Alex Telles has completed his transfer from Manchester United to Saudi Pro League side Al-Nassr. The Brazilian left-back set the Saudi side back £8.7million and will reportedly earn £7m-a-year with his new contract.
Telles joined the Red Devils from Porto in 2020 for £15.4m but failed to make an impact during his time at Old Trafford. Last season he was shipped out on loan to Sevilla and was deemed surplus to requirements ahead of the upcoming campaign.
Chelsea suffer Caicedo blow
According to the Evening Standard, Brighton have slapped a £100million price tag on Moises Caicedo's head if he is to leave this summer.
Chelsea are actively pursuing the player but aren't keen on forking out nine figures on the 21-year-old.
Roberto De Zerbi is keen to keep hold of the Ecuador international but it is understood to have gentleman's agreement with Caicedo to allow him to leave if a club meet's their valuation of the player.
Crystal Palace 'weigh up' ambitious move for Man City star
Crystal Palace are reportedly weighing up an ambitious move for Manchester City centre-back Aymeric Laporte. The Spaniard has fallen out of favour with Pep Guardiola and only made 12 appearances in the Premier League last season.
According to the Daily Star, Laporte is keen to secure a move away from the Etihad this summer with Crystal Palace hoping to entice him to south London. Laporte still has two years remaining on his deal with the Sky Blues and is valued at around £35m.
Mbappe swap deal
Chelsea could attempt to offload some of their fringe stars to Paris Saint-Germain in negotiations for Kylian Mbappe this summer. The Blues are said to be interested in acquiring the services of the forward, though his significant price tag could prove to be a deterrence.
Raheem Sterling, Romelu Lukaku and Hakim Ziyech are all potential options for a player-plus-cash-swap deal.
Man Utd new Hojlund bid
Manchester United are reportedly preparing an official offer for Rasmus Hojlund after a verbal proposal was deemed too low by Atalanta.
According to AlfredoPedula.com, Ten Hag is prioritising bringing in a new No 9 before making an approach for defensive midfield target Sofyan Amrabat of Fiorentina.
Atalanta want at least £60m for the player and are also expected to receive an offer from PSG in the coming days for the player.

The Daily Mirror report that the Spaniard is considering a return to his home country. And it is claimed that La Liga clubs are aware Thiago would be ready to leave Anfield.
