Arsenal shirt sales stopped after fans spot major error as Adidas left red-faced
Arsenal have stopped sales of their new kit after a major design error.
Arteta says summer transfer window will be 'crucial' for Arsenal
Stars such as Bukayo Saka, Martin Odegaard and Gabriel Jesus modelled the new kit on the final day of the Premier League season, with Arsenal thrashing Wolves 5-0 at the Emirates Stadium to cap a wonderful campaign. However, Arsenal's official shop and the Adidas store now show the 'authentic' version of the shirt to be out of stock.
It comes after fans noticed a design failure in the nod to the club's Invincible season of 2003-04. Marking 20 years since the north Londoners won the Premier League without losing a game, the shirt is supposed to include that year's sequence of league results.
However, fans have spotted that the sequence only shows 32 league matches, as opposed to 38. It is believed that draws with Birmingham and Portsmouth have been airbrushed, as well as four victories.

Man Utd takeover LIVE: Sheikh Jassim wants Solskjaer return as Declan Rice hijack plotted
The Manchester United takeover process has entered another week with the Glazer family seemingly no closer to striking an agreement with one of the main bidders.
Qatar's Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad Al Thani and British billionaire Sir Jim Ratcliffe have been left in the dark over their £5billion proposals to buy the Premier League outfit.
The shirt sets back punters at least £110 and costs more if fans want player names and competition logos printed on the strip. Supporters voiced their anger at such an expensive shirt featuring an obvious error.
Fan @ChrisRoberts8 said: “Both of mine only have 32. Bit confusing why they have done this. Surely must be an error by @adidasfootball and @Arsenal.”
@ChrisTatum4949 added: “£110 for that kit. It should be spot on, it’s beyond a joke how they have got it wrong.”
According to the Sun, an email sent to fans reads: "We've become aware of a design error with the current 23/24 Authentic Home Shirt. Consequently, we're unfortunately unable to fulfil your order at this time.

"We apologise for any inconvenience this has caused and will be cancelling and refunding your order in full. We are currently reviewing when the new 23/24 Authentic Home Shirts will be available, but in the meantime please see our 23/24 Replica Home Shirts which are available now and ready to ship."
The authentic shirt is marketed by Arsenal as "worn by the players on the home pitch" and features technology to "keep sweat at bay". A second cheaper home shirt remains on sale at £80 and can still be purchased in all its available sizes.
Arsenal fans will hope to find out which new signings will be wearing the authentic shirt next season. A second bid for West Ham captain Declan Rice was rejected yesterday, while Express Sport understands that advances have been made in a pursuit of Chelsea star Kai Havertz.
