Andre Onana linked with Man Utd and Chelsea move
Yes, the Glazers are still owners of Manchester United. And yes, the American family are yet to name the party they have chosen to sell the club to sevenths months after starting the process. But news continues to emerge as Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad Al Thani and Sir Jim Ratcliffe await a decision that was expected last week. Express Sport provides the latest Manchester United takeover news in Tuesday's update.
There is a growing public belief that Sheikh Jassim will beat Ratcliffe in the United takeover race. And that seems to be the expectation behind closed doors too...
According to The Guardian, there is a cautious sense that the Qatari banker has edged ahead of Ratcliffe as the Glazers' decision nears.
Reporter Sean Ingle wrote: "The sense both publicly and privately is that Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad Al Thani's Nine Two foundation has slipped ahead of Jim Ratcliffe's Ineos bid after making a fifth and final offer this month.
"That said, it is understood both parties were still in active and detailed discussions last week, and few behind the scenes are willing to make firm bets."

Erik ten Hag's impossible decision
Erik ten Hag could be faced with an impossible decision this summer due to the Glazers' tighter budget.
The Mail report that the Dutchman is working with up to £120million amid FFP limitations but wants a new No 1 goalkeeper, elite striker and Mason Mount.
Therefore, it's said that he will have to pick between a big-money move for David de Gea's replacement or a new goalscorer.
Of course, player sales would help him boost his transfer kitty. But United have made a slow start on that front.
