Erling Haaland's incredible body transformation with Man City star now absolutely ripped
Manchester City fans could hardly believe the change seen in Erling Haaland over the final few weeks of the season.
Rashford's verdict on Man City treble as Man Utd aim to catch up
Erling Haaland has sent fans into a frenzy with side-by-side photos showing his remarkable body transformation during his debut Manchester City season. The Norwegian was all popping veins and rippling muscles during the Sky Blues' rain-soaked Treble parade, having put together a remarkable individual campaign.
The 22-year-old didn't even need a warm-up year before breaking the record for most goals scored in a Premier League season. The benchmark is now set at 36, and Haaland racked up more than a half-century in all competitions.
A physical specimen at 6ft 4in tall, Haaland has also packed plenty of muscle onto his stretched-out frame, as evidenced by a photo of him posing with the Champions League trophy amid torrential downpours in Manchester.
The transformation is particularly striking when compared with a picture of the former Borussia Dortmund star taken back in April, when he smiled for a photo alongside Oasis star Noel Gallagher.

Fresh from a morale-boosting 4-1 win over title rivals Arsenal, Haaland was nowhere near as defined as he was following the Champions League final. One City fan, @ErlingEuphoria, theorised on Twitter that he must have 'been in the gym with Ruben [Dias]'.
While the lighting may have had some part to play in the stark difference between the photos, there is little doubt that Haaland is now a stronger competitor now than when he first arrived in England.

The prolific striker is under contract at City until 2027, while there are rumours of a new and improved deal in the works. Haaland had a £150million release clause which would have become active at the end of next season, but it was wiped out when Pep Guardiola committed his own future to the Etihad Stadium.
As Premier League defenders get to grips with the prospect of Haaland coming back new and improved for 2023/24, former England goalkeeper Paul Robinson believes that he could turn out to be the best player the division has ever seen.
"You look at the greats we’ve had over the years, including the fact that the Premier League has had potentially the best players in the world in recent times, and Erling is certainly putting in a case to be well up there," he told BetfredTV.
"Longevity is the only thing that’s missing. His stats are up there, his numbers are up there and his playing style is up there. If he does this over a long period of time then it’s going to be frightening."
