Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag reviews Wolves win
Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag has, according to reports in France, touched base with Adrien Rabiot about a potential move to Old Trafford this summer. The Juventus star’s deal with the Serie A giants is due to expire at the end of the campaign. And it’ll be interesting to see what unfolds given details that came to light last year…
According to L’Equipe, United are keen on Rabiot again.
They agreed a fee with Juventus for the midfielder last summer, only for the player’s wage demands to scupper his chances of a Premier League move.
And, back in August, it was claimed Ten Hag had held talks with the France international behind the scenes.
It was claimed the United boss had told Rabiot he would be a certain starter at Old Trafford, despite the other players at his disposal.
The report also said that while the 28-year-old would normally prefer to leave Juventus for a Champions League team, he was willing to make an exception to wear the Red Devils’ iconic colours.

United ended up swooping for Casemiro instead, with the Brazil international pursuing a new challenge after winning every major trophy at Real Madrid.
Fast-forward to now, however, and it appears the Red Devils are keen on Rabiot again.
As free transfers go, it makes sense. Rabiot is a slick midfield operator and would bring experience to Ten Hag’s side as well.
He is a serial winner, too, having won trophies at both Paris Saint-Germain and Juventus during the course of his career.
Rabiot remains divisive despite his achievements, with the player’s attitude previously leaving much to be desired towards the end of his time in France.
