Kane can absolutely win a trophy at Spurs, says Levy
When Tottenham face off against Manchester United on Thursday night, Harry Kane will very much take centre stage. The Red Devils have already started their pursuit of the England international in the hope he’ll swap north London for Old Trafford at the end of the campaign. However, a phone call from 2018 shows just what Erik ten Hag’s side will be up against.

And United will have to deal with Tottenham supremo Daniel Levy if they’re to land Kane and make him the focal point of their attack next season.
Back in 2018, it emerged that Levy had phoned up the Red Devils to enquire about the likes of Martial and Juan Mata.
And the nature of the phone call apparently, and we quote, caused former United chief Ed Woodward to s*** himself’.
While Woodward is no longer at Old Trafford, having left in February last year, that speaks volumes about what the Red Devils will have to contend with.
Levy is a wounded animal these days, with many Tottenham fans turning on the 61-year-old as their season goes from bad to worse.
He is likely to come out fighting, however, with Levy long regarded as one of the fiercest negotiators in world football.
Keeping Kane will be a priority for the Tottenham chief, particularly as he looks to bring in a world-class manager to get the Spurs ship sailing again.
Therefore, it’ll be fascinating to see how United’s pursuit of Kane plays out this summer.
Osimhen is Plan B, and a top one at that, having bagged 21 goals and clocked up four assists from 25 Serie A matches.

He also did well in the Champions League, netting five times from six outings during Napoli’s time in the competition.
But Kane would arguably represent an upgrade given his goalscoring exploits, Premier League experience and vast leadership skills.
On Thursday night, United will see first-hand what they’re hoping to get come the end of the season.
With Levy standing in the way, however, a transfer is far from a formality.
While United want Kane, meanwhile, former Red Devils star Dion Dublin thinks his old side should go for Brentford’s Ivan Toney instead.

Dublin told William Hill: "In my opinion, he is good enough to go and play for Manchester United, and I think he’d only get better if he went there.
"Erik ten Hag likes a big striker and they need a proven goalscorer so maybe they should take a look at Ivan Toney."
United have already beaten Tottenham once this season.
They won 2-0 back in October, with Bruno Fernandes and Fred on target in a straightforward win.
And United also emerged victorious when they last travelled to Tottenham, too, with Cristiano Ronaldo, Edinson Cavani and Marcus Rashford all finding the net.
