Arsenal team news: Expected XI vs West Ham as Arteta makes Zinchenko and Trossard calls
Arsenal take on West Ham at the London Stadium today and Mikel Arteta has a couple of big decisions to make.
Arsenal need to return to winning ways as they travel to West Ham on Sunday. Manchester City have reduced the gap to the Gunners to just three points following their win over Leicester on Saturday evening. Express Sport looks at the XI Mikel Arteta is expected to select at the London Stadium.
Goalkeeper - Ramsdale
Arsenal had Aaron Ramsdale to thank for preserving a point at Anfield last Sunday. If it wasn't for the England international, Arteta's side would have completely thrown away a 2-0 lead to lose 3-2.
Arteta will be hoping Ramsdale isn't needed to be called upon anywhere near as much as he was at Anfield. But West Ham are scrapping for points near the bottom and he will have to be on form again.
Defence - White, Holding, Gabriel, Zinchenko
Oleksandr Zinchenko's place in the team may be in question. The Ukraine star was easily beaten by Trent Alexander-Arnold before he set up Roberto Firmino's equaliser on Merseyside.
Kieran Tierney is waiting for his opportunity but Arteta is likely to stick with Zinchenko for the time being. He has been crucial to the transformation of this Arsenal side and one mistake won't cost him his spot.
The rest of the defence picks itself in William Saliba's continued absence. Rob Holding will slot in alongside Gabriel, with Ben White at right-back.

Midfield - Partey, Odegaard, Xhaka
Arteta will pick his tried and tested midfield for the remainder of the season if they stay fit. Thomas Partey makes such a difference when he is available and will be crucial to Arsenal's chances against City at the Etihad in 10 days' time.
Martin Odegaard was a bit quiet against Liverpool and hasn't scored in six games for club and country. Granit Xhaka received criticism for his role in riling the Liverpool crowd last week but will hope to let his football do the talking today.

Attack - Saka, Jesus, Martinelli
Leandro Trossard will perhaps feel aggrieved to have been left out at Anfield. The Belgian scored a hat-trick on the ground earlier this season for Brighton.
But Gabriel Jesus got the nod and scored his third goal in two games. He is the first-choice striker for Arteta and will likely keep his place.
Bukayo Saka has played 72 Premier League games in a row and will surely make it 73. Gabriel Martinelli is one of the form players in England right now and will play off the left.
Arsenal expected XI vs West Ham in full: Ramsdale; White, Holding, Gabriel, Zinchenko; Partey, Odegaard, Xhaka; Saka, Jesus, Martinelli
