Erik ten Hag on Cristiano Ronaldo staying at Man Utd
Cristiano Ronaldo is reportedly a transfer target for David Beckham’s Inter Miami amid the uncertainty over his Manchester United future. The Portugal international has struggled to earn the trust of Erik ten Hag following the appointment of the 52-year-old. And past comments from the veteran suggests he would be open to strutting his stuff in the MLS should the right opportunity arise…
Having been denied his wish of an exit back in the summer transfer window, the Portugal international has had to spend most of his time since watching on from the sidelines.
Ronaldo started for United in the 4-0 defeat to Brentford in August but, since then, is yet to begin a Premier League match.
Instead, he’s been forced to accept starts in the Europa League against the likes of Real Sociedad, Sheriff and Omonia.
Ronaldo is frustrated at United these days and, as his mood worsens, it’s emerged that Beckham is ready to bring the 37-year-old to Inter Miami.

The MLS side will soon need a replacement for Gonzalo Higuain, with the former Real Madrid, Napoli, Juventus and Chelsea marksman poised to hang up his boots at the end of the current season.
And if United indicated a willingness to let their No 7 go for nothing, then Ronaldo moving to the MLS could be on the cards.
Back in 2016, when he was strutting his stuff for Real Madrid, Ronaldo was asked about a potential move to America later in his career.
And he indicated he’d be willing to make such a move, while praising the way the sport has grown overseas in the process.
“I know that many players move there. I think it's becoming better and better. It's growing,” he said at the time.
“I think it's good. It's good for me and young players that maybe one day we want to move there. So it's good that football—'soccer'—grows there.
“I mean, what's happening there is great, it's fantastic—maybe in the future will be a good chance for me to play there.
“You never know, but it's something interesting. I consider it, of course, because as I've said, soccer there has become better and better, so why not?
“I think that this is maybe going to be possible.”
That came after Ronaldo had previously appeared to rule out a move to America.
