Chelsea have received a boost in their hopes of signing Monaco midfielder Aurelien Tchouameni, reports in Italy claim. Chelsea have been linked with a move for the France international. And it appears their path to sign him has been cleared somewhat.

But Real's financial difficulty in recent seasons would make a move to Chelsea more likely if the Blues pay what Monaco want.
Earlier this month, Tchouameni spoke to L'Equipe about speculation over his future but he insisted he does not pay much attention to the rumours.
"My father called me, we talked about everything and he told me that I was on the front page of Marca. I went on Twitter and saw for myself," Tchouameni said.
"I told him it was cool, but what does it actually matter? It doesn’t. The front page of Marca will not define me or allow me to perform well in matches.
"It’s not real life, but it is the media world, the football business. They talk about me today but tomorrow, they’ll be talking about another.
