ZENIT St Petersburg have pulled out of the race to sign Russia striker Roman Pavlyuchenko from Tottenham.

Roman Pavlyuchenko, 28, has struggled to make an impact at White Hart Lane and is keen to leave.
However Zenit St Petersburg president Alexander Dyukov said their attempt to sign him on loan for six months with a view to a permanent move “did not suit Tottenham” and their interest is over.
