Nuno Espirito Santo previews Manchester United clash
Manchester United midfielder Donny van de Beek has devised an escape plan ahead of the January transfer window, according to reports. Everton and Newcastle United will be on red alert after Van de Beek switched agents earlier this month amid a frustrating stint at Old Trafford.
Adidas and Manchester United have launched their official 2021/22 home jersey, putting a modern twist on their classic club styles.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer signed the Netherlands international in a £35million deal last summer but has used him as a sporadic squad member.
Solskjaer has struggled to fit Van de Beek into his team, with Bruno Fernandes preferred in attacking midfield and a few players ahead in the double pivot pecking order in his 4-2-3-1 system.
The 24-year-old has made just 17 starts in all competitions across the last 12 months and has only played six minutes of Premier League football this season.
And he's now ready to push for an exit at the nearest possible opportunity, already getting the ball rolling in recent weeks.

Van de Beek almost joined Everton in the summer, but Solskjaer protested to the United board that losing him would weaken the squad.
Newcastle have recently been linked with his services, ahead of the club's first transfer window under new Saudi-backed ownership.
With the Norwegian manager continuing to treat him as a fringe player, though, the Dutchman is ready for a new challenge elsewhere.
United would want to recoup most of the fee paid for him last year, given he has almost four years left on his current deal, with the option of a further year.
