The Italian media are hammering Jose Mourinho after AS Roma's 1-0 defeat at Juventus on Sunday. Mourinho is receiving criticism for his side's results in big games this season, with journalist Paolo Bargiggia labelling him 'less and less special'.
After being sacked by Manchester United in 2018, Mourinho took charge of Tottenham Hotspur, was the club terminated his contract earlier this year.
It didn't take him long to find work, though, joining Roma in the summer in his return to Italy for the first time since a successful stint at Inter Milan 11 years ago.
Mourinho has guided Roma to fourth in Serie A, winning five of their first eight league games.
But the club has suffered narrow defeats on big occasions against Lazio and Juventus, prompting criticism.

Bargiggia has slammed Mourinho for leading Roma to defeat in important matches after his struggles at United and Tottenham.
He said: "Mou [Jose Mourinho] is less and less special and more a normal one.
"The former hero of Inter's Triplete has been unable to make a difference for a few years now.
"After the evident difficulties in his experiences with Manchester United and Tottenham, Mourinho has not been able to change the trend that sees the Giallorossi defeated in the matches that count and against the strongest opponents.

Bargiggia claims the money Mourinho spent in the summer makes his side's performances in big matches all the more disappointing.
"The tough defeat against Lazio in the derby and the 1-0 defeat in Turin yesterday confirm the bad habit of the Capitolini in big matches," Bargiggia explained.
"But Mourinho's lack of impact on the Giallorossi is even more serious if you think of the money Roma have spent in the transfer market.
"Mourinho's Roma were the leading Italian club in terms of expenditure in the summer, and the fifth in Europe. A purchase campaign that requires other results."
