Varane deal 'a sign of Man Utd's aims'
Amid pre-season disruptions caused by the summer's international tournaments, Manchester United may not be 'full-strength' against Leeds United on August 14. However, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has received a double boost ahead of next weekend's Premier League opener at Old Trafford.
Adidas and Manchester United have launched their official 2021/22 home jersey, putting a modern twist on their classic club styles.
Paul Pogba returned from holiday to join Solskjaer's current pre-season squad at a training camp in Scotland on Tuesday.
The 28-year-old's future remains unsolved, but he'll undoubtedly be a big part of Solskjaer's plans for the season ahead.
His French compatriot, Raphael Varane, has been frustrated by Visa delays ahead of confirming his United move.
However, according to Fabrizio Romano, the Real Madrid centre-back will arrive in Manchester in the next 24 hours to complete his transfer.
Both players will undoubtedly be in Solskjaer's mind for the Leeds clash, and getting them both for over a week of preparation will be a significant boost.

Defence: Wan-Bissaka, Varane, Maguire, Shaw
Aaron Wan-Bissaka has enjoyed a full pre-season and will be ready to go against Leeds.
This week, Harry Maguire and Luke Shaw returned to the club following their late run at Euro 2020 with England.
They will likely start on the left side of Solskjaer's defence, with Varane slotting in between Maguire and Wan-Bissaka if all goes to plan with his arrival.
