Borussia Monchengladbach's Florian Neuhaus is rumoured to be highly thought of those by those at the top of the Liverpool hierarchy, but talks surrounding a potential move have stalled.
According to reports from German outlet Bild, Neuhaus has reportedly decided to stay after holding positive discussions with newly-appointed Monchengladbach coach Adi Hütter.
Hütter joined the German side in April having previously occupied another role in the Bundesliga as the manager of Eintracht Frankfurt.

Monchengladbach have placed a £34m price tag on the 24-year-old German, after his initial €40m release clause had expired.
Neuhaus is now likely to stay for at least one more year before re-assessing, though it is unlikely the Reds can wait that long given Wijnaldum’s departure.
If Liverpool are to eventually secure the signature of Neuhaus next summer, they will likely have to fend off interest from Bayern Munich.
The Bundesliga champions often have the pick of the brightest talents in the league and Neuhaus is already one of the mostsought-afterstars.
Liverpool endured a dismal season last time around, falling some way short of retaining their Premier League crown.
Though their demise was heavily influenced by a number of injuries to key players, particularly in the defensive area, it would not have softened the blow of a third-placed finish after sealing their first title in 30 years just one season prior.
