Manchester United are in the market for a new striker this summer and they have been heavily linked with Tottenham Hotspur star Harry Kane. Following the club's involvement in the failed European Super League, United fans have been protesting against their owners, the Glazer family.
United's game against Liverpool was due to be played on Sunday but it was postponed after protestors managed to get inside Old Trafford.
According to a report from the Sun, the protests 'hit home' with the Glazers and they are prepared to sanction a £90m move for Kane in a bid to appease fans.
The report states that Kane is United's top target and the player is interested in joining the club.
Tottenham chief Daniel Levy does not want to sell Kane to a Premier League rival, but they may be forced to cash in to finance some new additions.

After he was named player of the year at the London Football Awards, Kane said: "Individual awards are great, they are fantastic achievements.
"When I look back at the end of my career, these are all the things I'll go over and take in a little bit more, but the goal right now as a player is to win team trophies.
"As much as this is great, I want to be winning the biggest team prizes.
"We're not quite doing that. It's bittersweet, but it is what it is.

"I'm proud to win [Premier League Player of the Year], it's been a good season on the pitch."
United legend Roy Keane has previously said that a signing like Kane would "put a marker down" for next season.
Speaking to Sky Sports, Keane said: "United need to go and make a big, big signing, whether it’s Kane or Grealish – put a marker down.
"Okay, they need another centre-half, but I still think at the top end of the pitch. When you look at some of the games this year that they’ve drawn, they’ve lacked that real bit of quality."
