Man Utd: Solskjaer responds to racism directed at Rashford
Manchester United star Marcus Rashford has showed his elite mentality with comments about Ole Gunnar Solskjaer. The England international has been in fine form this season, helping his side to second in the Premier League table. However, he’s not happy with second - and wants more.
Rashford wasn’t always a regular under Jose Mourinho.
He rarely started at centre-forward over Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Anthony Martial, while his path to the left wing could sometimes be blocked by the likes of Alexis Sanchez and Anthony Martial.
Under Solskjaer, however, he’s become undroppable.
And while the United star has told the club’s official website of his happiness under the Norwegian, he’s also showed his elite mentality by admitting he cares more about the team’s fortunes than his own.

“We had to show that we’re strong and relentless to come back at a difficult place to play football, really.
“We expect it’s going to be a tough game [on Sunday] and hopefully we can find a way to win the game and get the three points.”
Newcastle have had a troublesome campaign under Steve Bruce.
But Rashford feels they won’t be pushovers on Sunday, insisting: “There are no weak teams in the Premier League.

“There are teams that go through spells, like everyone does, where they have a dip in form or they’re not quite picking up results but they’re playing good football.
“I’ve just learned that, in this league, you never expect an easy ride or an easy game.
“You’ve got to prepare as well as you can prepare and be as focused as you can for each game.”
Meanwhile, Solskjaer hailed Rashford after the club’s 4-0 thumping of Real Sociedad on Thursday night - claiming the forward was getting ‘better and better’.
“He is getting better and better, closer and closer. He’s improving all the time,” he said.

“The chances he gets because of his athleticism and movement.
“He was strong to hold him off for the first one but the goalkeeper came close to him and that was a hardish one.
“The second one, the goalkeeper comes out and that’s another one we’re working on.
“We had loads of practise on that yesterday actually. He’s improving and, of course, I can see we are still working. He knows what we want him to improve on and the goal was a good example of composure and technical quality.”
