Tottenham: Mourinho gives team news for West Brom clash
Tottenham boss Jose Mourinho should not be sacked before the Carabao Cup final against Manchester City, according to former Spurs midfielder Gus Poyet. Mourinho has seen his Tottenham side lose their last three Premier League matches. Thursday's defeat against Chelsea condemned the Portuguese to successive home league losses for the first time in his career as a manager.

"Talking about Jose, I think the main thing for Jose is he's already in a cup final," Poyet told Stadium Astro.
"I think nothing will happen before that final. I don't want to think that he's under pressure because they want trophies, they're in a final, and there's still plenty of the season ahead.
"So I think it's a slightly different situation with Frank Lampard, the amount of money that Chelsea spent in the summer.
"But you don't know what is going on internally, so to comment on that would be unfair to Jose.

"But the reality is that they scored on that penalty. After that, no problems, no panic, no big chances. The game was more in their hands in the first half, but nothing coming out of that.
“In the second half, completely different. We were the best team, we pressed higher, recovered the ball faster, getting more players into attacking areas and in the second half, I believe we deserved more than what we got.
“So, the negative feeling of a defeat doesn’t change, but you can take some positives, you can work at the training ground as a player and a coach with the feeling that we are together.
"The players gave what they had to give in the second half, and at least there is that positivity.”
