Arsenal target Julian Brandt shows off skills in Bundesliga
Arsenal players are already discussing the possibility of being joined at the club by Germany international Julian Brandt, according to reports. Borussia Dortmund star Brandt is one of a number of attacking midfielders linked with a winter move to Arsenal.
Mikel Arteta is in the market for a creative player having seen his side score just 16 goals in as many Premier League games this season.
Real Madrid star Isco, Barcelona youngster Riqui Puig and Norwich City's Emiliano Buendia are all rumoured to be targets for the Gunners.
And it seems Brandt is another player who can be added to that list.
Sport Bild reporter Christian Falk says Arsenal's interest in Brandt is genuine and the potential transfer is being talked about among Arteta's players.

Meanwhile, Arsenal have confirmed the departure of left-back Sead Kolasinac, who has re-joined Schalke on loan for the remainder of the season.
Speaking at his press conference this morning, Arteta insisted he needs to trim his squad and expects a few to leave the club next month.
"Well, we have a large squad, we knew that and a lot of things we wanted to do in the summer, we couldn’t accomplish for different reasons," the Spaniard said.
"There are some players that are going to go on loan, they are going to leave, and that’s the priority at the moment.

"We cannot sustain the numbers that we have in terms of substitutions.
"We are looking to do that and then we will see if we have the right opportunities in the positions that we need some more help.
"We are working with the club to find that."
Arteta says each case will be dealt with individually as to whether a player leaves permanently or on loan.

He added: "We need to be careful with that (stifling the development of a youngster), but obviously financially, it’s not only only us, it’s every club in the Premier League who has been hit with big numbers.
"We know that this is not going to change from the last year or so and we are going to have to add some of how we want to improve the team in different ways financially.
"We will decide whether it’s a loan or buying players in relation to the opportunity that we have in the market."
