Man Utd: Solskjaer says Cavani demanded no.7 shirt
Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is eyeing Norwich star Max Aarons ahead of the January transfer window, according to reports. And that’s because he feels the Canaries right-back can offer more of an attacking threat than Aaron Wan-Bissaka. Wan-Bissaka leaves much to be desired defensively and the Red Devils, it seems, are now seeking an upgrade.
Manchester United signed Wan-Bissaka from Crystal Palace back in the summer transfer window of 2019, paying £50million to sign the right-back.
Yet while he’s impressed from a defensive point of view, he’s still raw when it comes to going forward.
United have relied on flying full-backs such as Gary Neville and Rafael Da Silva to win Premier League titles in the past and, now, Solskjaer is keen to take transfer action.
According to The Sun, the Norwegian is keen to sign Aarons because he feels he can offer more of an attacking threat.
League leaders and current champions Liverpool usually score goals galore thanks to the work of Trent Alexander-Arnold and Andy Robertson on the flanks.
And Solskjaer believes Aarons could have the same impact if he’s to move to Old Trafford.

He then added: “They’re playing better football, they’re entertaining, they’re starting to win at home. They’ve got a big squad, they’re scoring goals.
“There’s no reason why they can’t sustain this.
“Ole has spoken about them being more robust – you can see that, the last 20 minutes you could just smell that they started to believe something might happen.
“That’s what the best teams have.
“They’ve got to sustain that, keep that level of consistency but I do think they can maintain that for the rest of the season and challenge Liverpool who at this moment of time have got injuries and could slip up.”
