Manchester United star Edinson Cavani has held talks with Ed Woodward about a new contract, according to reports. The Uruguay international has scored four goals for the Red Devils since his arrival on a free transfer from PSG back in the summer. And Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is delighted with his impact at Old Trafford so far.

Solskjaer feels Cavani has ‘many years’ left ahead of him, saying ahead of his side’s Premier League clash with Wolves on Tuesday: “He is still one of the fittest players we have got.
“At the moment it looks like he has a few years left in him.
“He has made a great influence, a great impact when he has come here. He has a few years left in him.
“We have good competition for places but he will probably start more games than he will not start. He is definitely a starter.
“You don't classify a player of that quality as anything else. I trust him and my players.”
“His habits and everything show you about why he has had the career he has had.”
United will enter the match against Wolves currently on a fine run of form.
They’ve won six of their last eight Premier League games, with draws against Manchester City and Leicester the only blotches on their record.
And they now sit just five points behind Liverpool with a game in hand.
Cavani will be looking to spearhead their title charge, with the South American striker previously winning six Ligue 1 titles during his time with PSG.
