Even John Terry was left surprised at Andreas Christenson's role in Aston Villa's equaliser against Chelsea on Monday. Frank Lampard's side took the lead in the first half when Olivier Giroud neatly headed past Emiliano Martinez.

And they frustrated Villa's attacking threat in the first half, but disaster struck soon after the restart.
Christensen collided with Jack Grealish in the middle of the pitch with the Chelsea defender failing to get back to his feet quickly.
The ball fell to Grealish soon after with Christensen still laid down on the floor with the England international finding Matty Cash out wide in space.
The midfielder then whipped in a teasing cross towards the back post where Anwar El Ghazi was in plenty of space to volley past Edouard Mendy.
Christensen's absence was clearly felt for Villa's equaliser, but Lampard didn't go into much detail about his thoughts on the Danish defender.
"I think there was a handball along the line. In terms of Grealish and Christensen, there wasn't much in it," he said.
"Not sure it was a foul. I haven't reviewed that one yet."
For Terry, it was a sweet return to Stamford Bridge as a coach at Villa to get one over his former team-mate.

He wrote on Instagram: "Great to be back at the Bridge tonight. Another great performance in the space of 48 hours from the boys @avfcofficial. Rest and recover now for the next game."
The post attracted plenty of interest from Chelsea supporters with one fan suggesting Villa should have kicked the ball out.
"You'd have been raging at that equaliser John. The sporting side of this game has disappeared," the fan posted.
But Terry gave a simple summary on how he felt about the knock to Christensen in his response.
