Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp faces a selection headache for the game against Leicester.
Liverpool: Joe Gomez injury a 'catastrophe' says Steve Nicol
Jurgen Klopp will be glad to see the back of the international break but it's come at a huge cost with some late decisions to be made on the team to face Leicester this weekend. Despite the embarrassing 7-2 defeat to Aston Villa last month, Liverpool have enjoyed a strong start to the new season.
But Klopp's side will be up against it against Leicester on Sunday with a number of players unavailable.
His main priority over the next few days will be working out who he players in central defence.
Virgil van Dijk is not expected to return this season after rupturing his anterior cruciate ligament.
Joe Gomez has been the only fit senior centre-back since Van Dijk was injured but disaster struck during the international break.

The England international picked up a knock in training which he needed surgery on with Liverpool confirming the operation had been "successful".
But the 23-year-old is also likely to miss most of the remainder of the season.
It leaves Joel Matip as the only recognised centre-back with Fabinho expected to fill in alongside him on a regular basis.
The defensive duo though have been carrying knocks of their own with Fabinho facing a late fitness test to determine whether he can play against Leicester.

Rhys Williams is also a concern after being left out of England's under-21 match against Albania with a hip injury.
Neco Williams is expected to fill in for Trent Alexander-Arnold at right-back, although James Milner may also be an option.
Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain remains out but there are also concerns over Thiago Alcantara and Jordan Henderson.
Thiago has been recovering from a knee injury during the international break while Henderson returned to Merseyside this week to undergo an assessment on a leg injury.
And Klopp will also have to adjust his front line with Mohamed Salah unavailable after testing positive for coronavirus a second time.
Diogo Jota is the man expected to take his place with Roberto Firmino and Sadio Mane making up the forward line.
Expected Liverpool XI: Alisson; Neco Williams, Matip, Fabinho, Robertson; Thiago, Wijnaldum, Milner; Jota, Firmino, Mane
