However, the 57-year-old warned the midfielder there is still a long way to go for him to reach the top.
Holloway said: “I want to keep building for him, he’s got natural ability, and we’ve got to teach him how to use it, not build him up to be this or that.
“He’s nothing at the moment unfortunately, he’s a 15-year-old kid who did really well on his debut, and I want to work with him, but I’ve got to wait until he’s finished school! It’s all a bit weird.
“His mum and dad should be very, very proud. They’ve made a fantastic young man who kept his head about him.
“If you look at his goal, he was on the edge of our box doing his defensive work.
“The second he realised, and it was the very same second they got it wrong and we stepped in, he went straight away. His reaction was like a proper senior pro, which I’m amazed at.”
