Everton are taking on an ambitious rebuilding programme under manager Carlo Ancelotti. James Rodriguez becomes the Toffees' latest addition following the capture of Allan from Napoli for £22million. Former Real Madrid star Rodriguez has signed a two-year contract at Goodison Park in a deal reported to worth be £20m.
"I am really, really happy to be at this great club, a club with so much history, and here with a manager who knows me really well," said Rodriguez.
"I'm looking forward to achieving great things here - and winning things, which is what everyone's aim is.
"I've come here to try to improve, to get better. I've also come here to help the team to win, to play good football - entertaining football."

Fernando Llorente, Napoli
Ancelotti is said to be considering a move for Fernando Llorente.
The Italian coach knows the striker well from his time at Napoli.
“Llorente is here because he can be useful to us, he is a great striker but there is the risk of confusing him with only having a strong head," Ancelotti said last year.
“Llorente also if he is tall, he is a footballer, he is one who is complete, not just a target.”
Maxi Gomez, Valencia
According to the Telegraph, Everton are keeping tabs on Valencia striker Maxi Gomez.
It's claimed Gomez will be able to leave the club during this transfer window as they look to cut costs.
The striker, 24, scored 10 goals and provided four assists last season.
Wesley Fofana, St Etienne
According to the Daily Mail, Wesley Fofana is on Everton's radar.
The defender, 19, put in a number of impressive performances for St Etienne last season and has been linked with various clubs.
The Toffees, though, may have to compete with Premier League rivals Leicester, who are said to weighing up a £20m bid.
