Chelsea: Lampard ‘doesn’t want Kepa at club’ says expert
Chelsea should sign Manchester United and Manchester City target Kalidou Koulibaly, according to former United midfielder Owen Hargreaves. Napoli centre-back Koulibaly has long been linked with a move to the Premier League. City are strongly rumoured to want the 29-year-old but reports claim United are now in the frame as well.
"I think Timo Werner's a fabulous player and Ziyech, I love him off the right-hand side," Hargreaves added.
"But still when I think back to those great Chelsea teams, I think back to [Petr] Cech in goal, John Terry, [Claude] Makelele, [Didier] Drogba, the spine. Frank doesn't have that yet.

"He's got great ball players, he has them now and he's going to get even better ones.
"But when I think about the leaders that [Lampard] had in his teams, those [Manchester] United teams, I don't think they are there [at Chelsea].
"So [Lampard] might spend a lot of money on these really good players but I think Frank probably wants to see somebody emerge a bit like JT [Terry] and a bit like him.
"That's going to be difficult. I think United need that, I think Chelsea need that, Arsenal need that."
Meanwhile, European football expert Gabriele Marcotti claims Napoli believe only City and United can afford to sign Koulibaly.
"From Napoli's perspective, I think they feel there is a chance that he's going to go," Marcotti said on the Transfer Talk podcast.
"But they also feel that the only other club other than City that could come in for him potentially is Manchester United.
"They don't feel there is anybody else in Europe who has the means to make them the kind of offer they would accept."
