Liverpool: Jurgen Klopp discusses defending Premier League title
Liverpool have had to readjust their transfer plans in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic and now Jurgen Klopp has had a change of heart when it comes to three players who could leave the club. Xherdan Shaqiri is just one of the names who could be heading out the door at the end of the season.

Liverpool were hoping to receive around £26million to let him go, nearly double what they paid (£13.5m) for him when he arrived from Stoke in 2018.
Now The Athletic claim that Klopp is willing to keep hold of Shaqiri, Harry Wilson and Marko Grujic for another 12 months should they receive no substantial offers.
The Anfield hierarchy are well aware of the constraints of the COVID-19 crisis, with Fenway Sports Group also struggling from a lack of match-day income from the Boston Red Sox.
Wilson has spent the season on loan at Bournemouth, who have agreed a deal with Liverpool to keep him at the Vitality Stadium until the end of the season.

Beyond that, the Welsh international knows he has an important decision to make on his future.
Speaking back in March to BT Sport, Wilson confirmed he intends to stay with Liverpool if all goes to play.
“I feel like I’ve got that decision to make in the summer,” he said.
“I feel like my last two years of loans have been good and this one has been positive for me as well.
“I’m finally in the Premier League which is what I’ve worked towards.

“In the summer I will be concentrating on Wales but once that is done, I may have a decision to make.”
As for Grujic, the Serbian is attracting strong interest from the Bundesliga, where he has flourished in the past two seasons with Hertha Berlin.
Liverpool were looking to receive around £25million for him before the break but now he could be handed a lifeline at Anfield.
While UEFA have extended the transfer window until October, Liverpool are expected to oversee a quiet summer.
That could mean several fringe players are given the opportunity to wipe the slate clean and prove their worth on Merseyside.
