Tottenham: Mourinho says team ’not strong enough’ after loss
Tottenham are reportedly keen on Newcastle star Allan Saint-Maximin, who has been arguably the best Premier League newcomer this season. The Frenchman joined the Magpies in 2019 from Nice and is already emerging as a cult hero on Tyneside.

But they have competition in the form of Paris Saint-Germain, who have been impressed with the way he has taken his game to the next level under Steve Bruce.
The report claims that Spurs would be willing to include Danny Rose and Juan Foyth in the deal, with additional cash if required.
Rose is currently on loan at Newcastle until the end of the season and Spurs boss Jose Mourinho is keen to clear out his squad of any deadwood.
Bruce though, is insistent that Saint-Maximin is not for sale at any price.

"There is no chance [of him leaving], no chance," he said in midweek.
"Every player in the world has got their price, but Allan has only just arrived. He signed a six-year deal in the summer.
"If people are talking about him, good. It means he's doing it on the pitch. That's all they can focus on and let the rest look after itself.
"I wouldn't put a price on him. When you're looking at the levels of money we bought him for, he is arguably the best pound-for-pound signing in the Premier League.

"You show me another better. What he has produced, we have probably got the buy of the season."
Tottenham's wide options are already stacked with Lucas Moura, Heung-min Son, Steven Bergwijn and Erik Lamela.
Lamela could be one of the names to depart north London and he is set to consider his name at the end of the season.
Tottenham are also tracking Norwich right-back Max Aarons and Southampton midfielder Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg.
