South Korean side FC Seoul have apologised for using sex dolls to fill the void left in their stadium after fans were banned from attending matches because of the coronavirus pandemic.
The K League has attracted unprecedented interest from around the world because it was one of the few football leagues which continued throughout the COVID-19 crisis.
However, FC Seoul have come under fire from fans for their attempts to populate the stands for the clash against Gwangju.
Dolls were dressed in club attire and placed in seats around the stadium but fans on social media noticed a peculiar feature they all had in common.
"Just look at their breasts, they were four times bigger than those of normal mannequins," one fan wrote on the club's official Instagram account.
FC Seoul denied that the mannequins were sex dolls in a defiant statement.
