Man Utd ‘most serious contender’ for Sancho signing says expert
Manchester United have decided signing a ‘seasoned midfielder’ isn’t a priority because Jadon Sancho and Jack Grealish are their preferred targets, report stay. The Borussia Dortmund and Aston Villa players have both impressed this season. And Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is hoping to bring the pair to Old Trafford when the transfer window reopens.
Manchester United boss Solskjaer is hoping to quicken his Old Trafford rebuilding job when the transfer window reopens this summer.
The Red Devils have seen Harry Maguire, Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Daniel James and Bruno Fernandes all impressed since their arrivals at the club.
And, now, United are hoping to sign both Grealish and Sancho as they eye the Premier League title next season.
The Red Devils have been linked with midfielders ahead of the summer transfer window.
But with Paul Pogba set to stay, the Manchester Evening News say United don’t see that as a priority - with Sancho and Grealish their main targets instead.

Both players are considered to have the ‘X-Factor’ that Solskjaer himself looks for in any potential new recruit.
And whether United can sign the duo this summer, boosting their chances of Premier League title glory in the process, is something only time will tell.
Regarding Sancho, they’re the club that have been the most proactive when it comes to pursuing the 20-year-old.
Matt Judge and Ed Woodward have both been working on a transfer deal that would see him return to the Premier League, three years after he quit Manchester City.
United are currently ahead of the likes of Chelsea and City in the battle to sign the England international.
City have asked to be kept informed of any developments but aren’t expected to try and bring the youngster back to the Etihad.
And things have gone quiet on Chelsea’s end since the Blues agreed a deal to sign Hakim Ziyech from Ajax back in January.
United believe Grealish can be signed this summer, particularly if Aston Villa succumb to relegation.
City have also been linked with the 24-year-old but the playmaker himself favours a move to Old Trafford.
Meanwhile, speaking to Sky Sports over the weekend, Solskjaer admitted United were braced for a ‘new world’ in the transfer market due to the coronavirus crisis.
