Leicester City need to 'lock down' Maddison contract says expert
Manchester United have been linked with a summer swoop for Leicester midfielder James Maddison. The 23-year-old has been impressive for the Foxes this season as they have been in the top four foe the majority of the campaign.
Maddison has netted six times and provided three assists in helping Brendan Rodgers’ side.
And the former Norwich man has highlighted his admiration for David Silva in a chat with Thierry Henry.
Maddison usually plays in an attacking midfield role with Leicester, similar to that of the Manchester City man.
Speaking on a Puma Football Instagram Live chat, Maddison said: “When I was coming through and watching the Premier League, he was the one that really helped me as I started to understand the game properly.

“He was like me in a way because he was smaller and a bit weaker and a bit late in development but the way he caressed a ball and received it was amazing.
“I cannot think of anyone with a better weight of pass in the Premier League.
“The first time I played at the Etihad with Leicester I had to beg the kit man to get me his shirt. I studied him and to share a field with him was brilliant.”
Maddison could be in direct competition with United new boy Bruno Fernandes if he joins over the summer.

The Portuguese has made the attacking midfield role his own at Old Trafford with a blistering start to his Old Trafford career.
Fernandes has netted twice and provided three assists in just five Premier League appearances this season.
And his impact on Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's team came as no surprise to former Sporting Lisbon team-mate Luiz Phellype, who believes he shares Ronaldo's winning mentality.
"He is calm outside the field, but on it he is transformed," Phellype revealed.
"Bruno Fernandes is like Cristiano Ronaldo, when he loses he can't talk to anyone."
