Sport on TV: The best Manchester United documentaries fans can watch during lockdown
There's currently barely any Sport on TV - so Manchester United fans should turn to documentaries instead.
It’s definitely a golden era for sporting documentaries. Everybody has been talking about The Last Dance, Sunderland 'Til I Die has accrued a big following while All or Nothing: Manchester City is a must-watch on Amazon. But what if you’re a fan of Manchester United? Express Sport has got you covered - here are the best documentaries to watch if you’re a fan of the Red Devils.
The Class Of '92
Released in 2013, The Class of ’92 told the story of how United’s golden generation of young talent made the grade at Old Trafford.
David Beckham, Paul Scholes, Ryan Giggs, Phil Neville, Nicky Butt and Gary Neville all rose up the ranks to become club legends.
And all six appear on the documentary, opening up on the battles they faced along the way to superstardom.
The six players won the lot at United - and are still poster boys for the club now, all these years on.
Life of Ryan: Caretaker Manager
Giggs would go on to become United interim manager for the final four Premier League games of the 2013/2014 season.
And Life of Ryan: Caretaker Manager gives a good insight into that turbulent time.
Giggs’ methods are there for fans to see.
He would win two of the four matches before becoming Louis van Gaal’s assistant at Old Trafford.

Manchester United Football Family Tree
This one may appeal more to the older Manchester United fans.
But Manchester United Football Family Tree is a documentary we believe is worth watching for all supporters of the club.
It gives plenty of insight into how the Red Devils were managed throughout the 1970s up until 1993.
The documentary also shows us some early moments from Ferguson’s spell in charge. Given all he achieved, perhaps they should make a sequel.
Cantona - Eric The King
Eric Cantona is a United legend. He was a huge hit upon joining from Leeds, winning four Premier League titles at Old Trafford.
And Cantona - Eric The King is another you should put on your viewing list.
It tells all about the Frenchman and his glittering spell at the Theatre of Dreams.
Cantina himself speaks, explaining his style and evaluating all the success he achieved.

Keane and Vieira - Best Of Enemies
Roy Keane and Patrick Vieira were both formidable players for United and Arsenal during their playing days.
And, in 2013, the duo appeared in a documentary.
They were enemies on the pitch, often becoming embroiled in squabbles and scraps on the field of play.
Both give brilliant analysis of the rivalry between United and Arsenal at the time and it’s impressive seeing two enemies sit down and have a good old-fashioned debate about football.
Football's Greatest Managers - Alex Ferguson
Released in 2011 on Sky Sports, Football’s Greatest Managers - Alex Ferguson is all about the Scot.
It details how he turned the Red Devils around having come close to the sack earlier on in his tenure.
At the time it was released, Ferguson had 12 league titles to his name.
And he’d go on to win one more in 2013, bowing out on a high in the process.
