Liverpool transfer for Timo Werner will finance RB Leipzig deal for another Reds target
RB Leipzig are already drawing up plans for life after Timo Werner, who looks set to move to Liverpool this summer.
Liverpool: Timo Werner addresses transfer rumour
RB Leipzig have reportedly decided that they will spend the money they receive from Liverpool from Timo Werner's departure on Milot Rashica. The Werder Bremen forward has been discussed as a potential option for the European champions, as they look to bolster their attacking options.
Rashica has netted seven times in 20 Bundesliga matches this season and his performances have impressed Liverpool scouts.
Agim Amedi, the president of the Kosovo Football Federation recently claimed that Liverpool were interested in Rashica.
“There are many requests for him," Amedi told Syri TV.
"I know that Liverpool in the Premier League want him, but also Leipzig in the Bundesliga.

“I am sure that he will be advised in the best way to make his decision.”
Yet the Reds could now miss out on the 23-year-old, who has a £33million release clause.
According to Bild, RB Leipzig plan on financing a move for Rashica with the money they receive for Werner.
Julian Nagelsmann will use both Rashica and January signing Dani Olmo to replace the German international, who looks destined to move to Anfield.

RB Leipzig are reportedly set to table £17m as their opening bid for the winger.
Sporting director Markus Krosche has since denied those claims, but did hint there is a strong interest in Rashica.
“Milot is interesting. But there are considerably more interesting players. Basically, we are of course always concerned with our future squad," Krosche told Bild.
"But that’s still far away, our focus is on the resumption of the league on Saturday.
“Afterwards, we’ll see what conditions prevail and what opportunities we have, so we can deal with the topic in more concrete terms."
Rashica's agent Altin Lala stated last month that the player will make a decision on his future very soon.
"There are many clubs interested in signing Milot for next season," Lala said.
"But for now, of course, it’s suspended. There are some things that need to be done discreetly.
"Hopefully next season, Milot will have the opportunity to play in the Champions League. This is mine and Milot’s topic at the moment."
