Man Utd: Pundit discusses Solskjaer's transfer plans
Manchester United have slapped a £30million price tag on Jesse Lingard amid interest from Arsenal, reports say. The England international has struggled for form this season, failing to register a single Premier League goal or assist in over a year. And Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is happy to let the 27-year-old go when the transfer window reopens this summer.
Manchester United star Lingard is a product of the club’s academy and was a key player during Louis van Gaal and Jose Mourinho’s time at Old Trafford.
However, the England international has struggled over the last 12 months, falling down Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s pecking order in the process.
United are open to letting Lingard go at the end of the season and Arsenal have emerged as a potential destination.
And the Metro say United have slapped a price of £30m on Lingard - but the player himself would prefer to stay at Old Trafford and fight for his place.
Lingard recently revealed that issues in his personal life had impacted him and that United were well aware of that.
