Arsenal target Carlos Soler scores goal for Valencia
Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta has made Valencia star Carlos Soler a summer transfer target for the Gunners and the Spanish side have now revealed their asking price for the midfielder.
The 23-year-old has had an impressive season for Valencia and has scored three goals in 27 appearances in all competitions this campaign.
Despite his young age, Soler has already established himself as a key player for Valencia but the club could be forced to sell him along with other star players because of the club's current financial situation.
According to the Daily Mail, Valencia wants at least £36million for Soler.
However, the report claims Arsenal are not the only team interested in the midfielder, with Manchester United also monitoring the player's situation.

Sky Sports claim Arteta is an admirer of Soler and that the Arsenal manager is using his knowledge of Spain to source potential summer signings.
Soler only recently signed a new deal with Valencia, that keeps him at the club until 2023, but according to reports in Spain, the La Liga side needs to raise funds in the next window to balance their books.
Valencia had tried to sell striker Rodrigo to Barcelona in the January window, although a deal was never agreed.

While selling Soler is one option, the Spanish side could also end up selling winger Ferran Torres.
The 20-year-old is having a breakthrough season with Valencia and has scored six goals and has provided seven assists in 35 appearances in all competitions.
Liverpool are one of several teams interested in the youngster, although the would likely have to compete with Real Madrid and Barcelona to sign the winger.
Torres' current deal keeps him at the club until 2021 and while Valencia would like to keep hold of Torres they are considering their options.
