Celtic planning at least six signings in next transfer window as Neil Lennon plan emerges
Celtic boss Neil Lennon is planning an overhaul of his squad in the summer transfer window.
Celtic: Neil Lennon previews clash against St Mirren
Celtic manager Neil Lennon is planning on making at least six signings in the summer transfer windows as he looks to strengthen all areas of his squad. The Hoops are currently top of the Scottish Premiership and have a 13-point lead over second-placed Rangers.
However, despite Celtic being on course to win a fourth straight domestic treble, the Northern Irishman believes there is still room for improvement.
According to Football Insider, Lennon is looking to make at least six signings in the summer.
The report claims that the club's number one priority is to sign a new left-back when the season ends.
Lennon wants to find a replacement for Kieran Tierney, who was sold to Arsenal for £25million last summer.

The publication claims that a club source told them that they are also compiling a list of transfer targets for nearly every position.
However, one position Lennon is currently content with is at right-back, with the club particularly impressed by the performances of 19-year-old Jeremie Frimpong.
So, in addition to a new left-back, Celtic are also looking to sign a goalkeeper, a centre-back, a central midfielder, an attacking midfielder and a centre-forward.

One big issue Lennon faces is how much money he will have at his disposal in the summer.
A disappointing Champions League campaign, followed by an early exit from the Europa League could force the Parkhead club's hand into having to sell a star player for a third straight season.
Celtic sold Moussa Dembele to Lyon for £19m in 2018 and then moved Tierney on last summer.
To fund the summer overhaul striker Odsonne Edouard could be sold.
The 22-year-old is currently under contract until 2022, although the Frenchman's representatives are currently reluctant to enter into "serious" talks about extending his current deal.
Several top clubs across Europe, including Manchester United and Chelsea, are interested in the youngster, as he continues to show his talents for finding the back of the net.
So far this season Edouard has scored 27 goals and thas provided 19 assists in 45 appearances in all competitions.
It has been reported that if Edouard does sign a new contract with Celtic, that it would likely include a release clause, to give him the option to leave in the future.
However, Celtic would likely want such a clause to be quite high, as the Hoops believe Edouard is more valuable to the club than Tierney or Dembele was.
