Celtic beat Hamilton 4-1 on Sunday but the victory was marred by the actions of Hoops striker Leigh Griffiths. The 29-year-old appeared to stand on Accies midfielder Sam Woods in what boss Neil Lennon insisted was not a stamp.
During the game Griffiths tussled with Woods which resulted in the Hamilton man falling to the ground.
Griffiths then walked over the midfielder and stood on Woods’ chest, while holding his hands in the air and was then roughly pushed by Hamilton's Alex Gogic.
Lennon saw his player given a yellow card for the incident and while he felt the punishment was sufficient, after the game he issued a stern warning to Griffiths.
“I didn’t think Leigh stamped on him,” Lennon said.

“Ill-discipline isn’t what we’re about – we try to keep our discipline.
“I had a word and he calmed down.”
Hamilton surprised the visitors as they took the lead when Marios Ogkmpoe scored after just 26 minutes.
However, eight minutes later Jamie Hamilton was given a straight red and Celtic capitalised on the foul, as Edouard found the back of the net from the resulting free kick.
The game was all level at the break and Celtic had to wait until the closing moments before they could put the game beyond doubt.
