But, the Ivory Coast star has made just two Premier League appearances, after picking up a hamstring injury in August.
Meanwhile, Wanyama left Tottenham earlier this month, after failing to secure a move away from north London in January.
Tottenham were holding out for £9million for Wanyama, but allowed him to leave on a free transfer to Montreal Impact this month.
Kondogbia could be considered a replacement for Wanyama, who has struggled to back back into the Tottenham team after a serious knee injury.
