Liverpool: Gary Neville opens champagne following Watford loss
Arsenal fans sang about their Invincible season just a couple of days after Liverpool’s chances of matching their feat ended. Arsenal beat Portsmouth 2-0 in their FA Cup fifth-round tie at Fratton Park on Monday thanks to goals from Sokratis Papastathopoulos and Eddie Nketiah. The Gunners away support were in good voice as they saw their side ease to victory in the second half.

“In fact I must say, they didn’t mention it on commentary, I know the Portsmouth fans were amazing, but the Arsenal away fans tonight really played their part as well.”
Liverpool came within six games of beating Arsenal’s all-time English league record, and 11 of going the whole season without defeat, before they suffered a shock defeat at Watford on Saturday.
Jurgen Klopp’s side lost 3-0 at Vicarage Road to the relief of many Gunners supporters.
Keown also brought it up when Arsenal technical director, and fellow Invincible, Edu was pictured on TV in the crowd at Fratton Park.
