Bayern Munich star Serge Gnabry declared that “London [is] still red” after putting Chelsea to the sword on Tuesday night in the capital. The German winger scored twice in a 3-0 demolition at Stamford Bridge which leaves Chelsea’s hopes of qualifying for the Champions League quarter-finals paper-thin.
The Blues are the second London side to fall under Gnabry’s spell in the competition this season, with the 24-year-old scoring four goals in Bayern’s 7-2 battering of Tottenham in October.
And Gnabry, who spent the first four years of his professional career at Arsenal, took great pleasure in downing another one of his old club’s rivals.
Posting four pictures of his celebrations on social media, Gnabry wrote: “London [is] still red.. #FCB.”
Arsenal defender Hector Bellerin delighted in his pal’s trolling, responding on Instagram: “HAHA I LOVE YOU.”
