Leicester City: Brendan Rodgers on Adam Lallana rumours
Brendan Rodgers has denied suggestions Leicester City have made an approach for Liverpool’s Adam Lallana. The England international’s contract at Anfield expires at the end of the season and the Reds have opted not to offer him a new deal.
A number of clubs have been linked with a move for the midfielder, including Leicester.
Earlier this week, it was claimed the Foxes had opened negotiations with Lallana’s representatives over a potential summer move to the King Power Stadium.
That notion has been dismissed by Rodgers, who admits the 31-year-old will have a myriad of suitors in the summer.
He said: “I’ve seen a lot of stuff around Adam and that we’ve approached Liverpool, which isn’t the case.

Lallana has fallen down the pecking order at Liverpool since the arrival of Jurgen Klopp in October 2015 and has often found himself warming the bench in recent years.
The German, however, firmly believes the Kop star has a part to play in the Reds’ remaining fixtures.
"I am still completely positive. Would I like to have him available?” Klopp said of Lallana last month. “Yes, 100 per cent.
