Tottenham: Mourinho explains ‘funny’ outburst against Man City
Tottenham held their own Oscars ceremony on Twitter posting a set of hilarious billboards including first-team stars in famous Hollywood blockbusters. The club stole the limelight during the Los Angeles ceremony by editing players into personalised film posters.
Lucas Moura replaced Adam Sandler on a billboard for 'Happy Gilmoura', while Jan Vetonghen was dubbed 'SuperJan' and pictured flying across the city skyline in the superhero's famous blue suit.
Steven Spielberg's epic war film Saving Private Ryan was changed to include promising winger Ryan Sessegnon and Erik Lamela starred in the chilling poster for 'Silence of the Lamelas'.
Colombian centre-back Davinson Sanchez took centre stage in a recreation of the poster for three-time Oscar winner 'Davatar', while reserve goalkeeper Michel Vorm took on the role of Matt Damon in 'The Vorm Identity'.
Fan favourite Son Heung-Min played Nicolas Cage and Angelina Jolie for 'Son in Sixty Seconds' as the club also gave Oscars themed awards to their players.
