Man Utd: Rio Ferdinand criticises recruitment at club
Manchester United have been told they need to make a splash in the January transfer window and fork out £320million for five players. The Red Devils were beaten 2-0 by Burnley on Wednesday night.

United are still trying to get a deal to sign Bruno Fernandes over the line before next Friday's transfer deadline, with Sporting Lisbon refusing to budge on their valuation of the midfielder.
But the Red Devils are refusing to meet them on their valuation of the player, near to £70million, and are running the risk of missing out on the star.
And United fans are in disarray at the moment at the potential lack of signings throughout the window, just as it seems they desperately need incomings.
Supporters at Old Trafford chanted against vice-chairman Ed Woodward and the Glazer family during the defeat to Burnley, feeling the hierarchy are the ones at fault for the lack of transfer activity.

Speaking on TalkSPORT, pundit and United fan Andy Goldstein tore into the Old Trafford powerbrokers claiming they need to go out and secure Fernandes' arrival and then make four other signings.
The club have previously been linked with Napoli defender Kalidou Koulibaly, Aston Villa midfielder Jack Grealish and Leicester’s James Maddison.
They are also tipped to make a move for Paris Saint-Germain striker Edinson Cavani, who wants to leave Paris Saint-Germain.
And Goldstein has urged the club to go out and start spending money in a desperate bid to get into the top four.

“If the Glazers are serious about turning United back to where they were or getting them back to the big time - and there’s a massive gap between Liverpool, City and Leicester before United, they don’t just have to go out and get Bruno Fernandes,” he said.
“They’re arguing over an extra £5million for Bruno Fernandes, if Lisbon want £55million, knock on their door, give them £60million and tell them to keep the change.
“Then, you ring up Napoli, ask them how much they want for Koulibaly, and they say £100million - you give them £105million, pat them on the back and say ‘go on, get yourself a drink’.

“Then, you phone up Aston Villa and Leicester and ask how much they want for Grealish and Maddison, they want £75million then give them £80million.
“You do this, and you buy four or five players. Go out and get Cavani on loan, pay him ridiculous amounts of money to score goals - £150,000-per-week.
“One player is not the answer, Bruno Fernandes is not the answer, you need three, four our even five players to give United a chance of getting into the top four.”
