Man Utd won’t regret signing Bruno Fernandes says fan
Manchester United could complete the signing of Sporting Lisbon star Bruno Fernandes today or tomorrow, according to reports in Portugal. The 25-year-old’s signing has been personally ordered by Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and, despite Tottenham also being keen on the midfielder, Old Trafford is expected to be his next destination.
Manchester United’s pursuit of a new playmaker has led them to Fernandes, who has scored 15 goals and registered 13 assists from 25 matches this season.
The Red Devils had initially planned to wait until the summer to sign a new attacking midfielder, with James Maddison and Jack Grealish both admired.
However, United have changed tact and are now hopeful of bringing Fernandes to Old Trafford this month.
The struggles of Jesse Lingard and Juan Mata have prompted the rethink behind the scenes.
And, now, Portuguese newspaper A Bola claim that Fernandes’ move to United could be completed in the next 24 hours.
It’s claimed the Red Devils are willing to pay their £65million asking price.
