Chelsea: Giroud demands 'more important role' next season
Chelsea striker Olivier Giroud has been tipped to join Tottenham in the January transfer window by Sky Sports pundit Gary O’Neil, despite reportedly agreeing a deal to move to Inter Milan. The Frenchman is in favour of a move away from Stamford Bridge this month because of a lack of playing time.

“Giroud’s representatives have flown to Milan to discuss the potential move,” Sheth said.
“It should be said that Inter have yet to agree a deal with Giroud.
“It’s thought that Chelsea want at least £8.5million for Giroud, but Inter don’t want to pay more than £4.3m.
“Giroud does have other options on the table, including Lyon and Aston Villa.

“But Lampard has reiterated if a deal is right then it will be looked at.”
Lyon’s most likely way of obtaining Giroud would likely be part of a swap deal as their own French striker Moussa Dembele has been linked with a move to Chelsea.
