Rangers boss Steven Gerrard reacts to win at Celtic
Rangers boss Steven Gerrard admits he will only consider making signings after trimming down his “overcrowded” squad in the January transfer window. Gerrard is currently working with sporting director Ross Wilson and are both focused on selling or loaning out a few players before getting reinforcement at Ibrox Stadium.

Eros Grezda and Andy King have already left the club and could be joined by Matt Polster, Greg Docherty and Glenn Middleton, who could be set for another loan move following his stint at Hibernian.
Gerrard expects "three or four" players to depart and only then would he consider getting one signing done before the transfer window slams shut.
Nevertheless, the Liverpool legend has confirmed that there won’t be much activity in terms of incoming transfers.
Gerrard told Sky Sports: "We've got things bubbling away in terms of players going out on-loan to play football.

"I think that echoes and back up what Ross has said about trimming the squad. We have to be fair to players who haven't played as much but are training well, being professional and doing everything.
"But we're just overcrowded in terms of numbers, so we'll be respectful and try and get them the right move so they can go and play football.
"I think, come the back end of January, you'll probably see three or four go the other way.
"And, depending what happens in terms of those three or four, will depend on maybe add one.

Rangers won 2-1 thanks to Ryan Kent and Nikola Katic’s goals - Neil Lennon’s side temporarily equalised with Odsonne Edouard.
That marked the Light Blues’ first victory at Celtic Park since 2010.
Gerrard said after the biggest statement win of his managerial career to date: “It feels the best right now.
“I don't want to take anything away from the fact we have just come out of a Champions League-level group to qualify for the last 32 of the Europa League.”
