Arsenal: Calum Chambers reflects on draw against Everton
Mikel Arteta told his Arsenal players to show bravery in a pre-match pep talk ahead of facing Everton. Arteta, who was unveiled as Arsenal manager on Friday, was at Goodison Park to see his players in action for the first time. And the Gunners were nowhere near their best as they had just two shots on target but kept a much needed clean sheet.

"We dominated possession and chances, and you could see Everton getting tired and frustrated.
"I thought we could have won the game with the chances we had. But I loved the spirit we saw and that's what you need in the Premier League.
"I wanted to see people that would run and fight for the team. We can't rely on our name - we have to fight and do the dirty things."
Just an hour before kick-off, Carlo Ancelotti was announced as Everton’s new manager which meant Duncan Ferguson was managing the team for the last time.

And he gave credit to his players for their performance.
He said: ”I think a point was fair. We struggled with energy levels and they probably had the better chances but we're happy with a point. The players dug deep today.
"I've enjoyed it but I knew it was going to be tough today. The boys were on their last legs to be honest, after working so hard in the last three games. But we still covered every blade of grass - we just lacked a bit of quality in the final third.
"Me and the fans go way back - I've been here 25 years. They're the lifeblood of the club."
