Everton next manager: Three possible replacements if Marco Silva sacked
Everton could be about to part company with Marco Silva after his side lost against Leicester.
Everton: Marco Silva's 'time is up' as manager says Telfer
Everton boss Marco Silva is on the brink after suffering a devastating last-gasp defeat at Leicester leaves them in 17th place, lingering dangerously two points above the relegation zone. The Toffees manager could lose his job before the Merseyside derby on Wednesday.
It’s a bitter pill to swallow for the Toffees who played well for the best part of an hour after Richarlison gave them the lead in the first half.
But Leicester fought back and were inspired by Brendan Rodgers’ substitution of Kelechi Iheanacho onto the field.
The striker set up Jamie Vardy for the equaliser before scoring the winner in injury time.
Now Marco Silva could face the sack, so who could take over at Goodison Park?

Eddie Howe
Howe is a boyhood Everton fan and there is belief that he has taken Bournemouth as far as he can.
The Tottenham job looked to be his chance to manage a top six club, but that opportunity has fallen by the wayside.
Everton are realistically a logical next step for the English boss, if he’s prepared to leave the Cherries mid-season.
It may not seem like it now, but he will be given plenty of cash to spend and Everton are due to move into their brand new Bramley-Moore Dock Stadium.

David Moyes
Everton fans loved Moyes, who took them to the Champions League.
Now he could come back on an interim basis to steady the ship until the end of the season.
The speculation doesn’t seem to be too popular amongst Toffees fans, but it’s now a realistic possibility given that it’s difficult to appoint a top manager in the middle of a season.
Moyes’ stock has dropped since he left Goodison Park in 2013 following underwhelming spells with Manchester United, Real Sociedad, Sunderland and West Ham.
Rafael Benitez
The former Liverpool boss would certainly improve Everton defensively, something that is clearly needed.
However his ties to the Reds may prohibit him from taking the job, despite still owning a house on Merseyside.
Benitez left Newcastle last season, after failing to agree a new contract with the club.
He is currently managing in the Far East with Dalian Yifang, but is likely to return to the Premier League at some point.
