Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has been blown away by the performances of Leeds United duo Kalvin Phillips and Ben White, according to reports.
It’s been claimed the Red Devils are looking at signing the duo as they aim to climb up the ranks in the Premier League table, having struggled in the top flight this season.
Phillips is a holding midfielder who could give Manchester United the bite and tenacity they crave in the middle of the park.
And White, on loan from Brighton, has flourished at Elland Road. Express Sport now looks at how the duo could fit in to Solskjaer’s side.

Ben White
The second Leeds star that United want to sign is defender White.
He only signed a new contract with Brighton back in the summer before moving to Elland Road on a temporary basis.
And he’s starred at the back, helping Leeds concede just nine goals from their opening 16 games.
United only signed Harry Maguire back in the summer.
And, consequently, it’s far more likely he’d jump above Victor Lindelof in the pecking order.
Full United XI: De Gea, Wan-Bissaka, White, Maguire, Williams, Phillips, McTominay, Pogba, James, Martial, Rashford
Speaking recently, Manchester United manager Solskjaer hinted he wouldn’t be strengthening his squad in the January transfer window.
“To win games you need to score goals and I’m sure Anthony and Marcus are going to get their share of goals,” said Solskjaer.
“Anthony’s just gonna improve but we need more creativity.
“But we’ve got loads of players here in the squad who could create more, it’s not just look outside, we have to do with what we have.
“We’re looking for some creativity and goals, but they [potential signings] have to be the right one. “There were strikers available [in the summer] but not the ones we wanted. We couldn’t get the one we wanted.”
